Diocletian Palace is broadly defined as the entire Old City. The Golden Gate (North Gate), Silver Gate (East Gate), Copper Gate (South Gate) and Iron Gate (West Gate) constitute the entire Old City. From the passage linking the Promenade to the Atrium Square, Diocletian's Palace can enter the lower part of the inner palace lobby. The passage is now a commercial city in the old town, and various shops selling small goods are filled with the entire passage.
