Former Site of Shanghai Telephone Company-Taixing Road Branch Review

Taixing Road was under the jurisdiction of Shanghai Public Concession. Taixing Road is north-south, located in one of the most prosperous areas in Jing'an District. Between Nanjing West Road and Beijing West Road, in March 1932, the West District Automated Telephone Exchange was established, and there was an automatic switch of Bell Telephone Company. In the 1990s, it was changed to a program-controlled switch. Now it is not needed. The old house is protected and has become the fifth batch of historical buildings in Shanghai.
