The village is so colorful and stunning! It’s easy to get lost but if you stay on the main road, you will be able to navigate the area. There are a ton of artistic murals. It’s fantastic that artists can paint the murals and express their creativity. There are a lot of great stores, coffee shops, restaurants and street food stands in the area.

Located uphill, taking the bus is the best way to get here. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here to explore the alleys and shops. There are restaurants at the entrance and little food stalls inside the village. You can buy a map from the tourist information center to collect stamps.

The Gamcheon village is a small, colorful and clean area in Busan. Often referred as Machu Picchu of Busan. Its free to enter. You can capture many memorable photos.

Gamcheon Culture Village, often referred to as the "Machu Picchu of Busan," is a captivating blend of art, history, and community. This hillside village, with its vibrantly painted houses and narrow alleys, offers a unique and picturesque experience. Each turn reveals whimsical art installations and murals, reflecting the creative spirit of the local residents. It's not just the visual appeal but also the stories and history behind Gamcheon that make it so special. This area, once a refuge during the Korean War, has transformed into a thriving hub of culture and art. A visit to Gamcheon Culture Village is like stepping into a living gallery, where every corner tells a story.

it's a beautiful paradise of colorful homes. I heard from a person who has shop in this area she said that many young people do not like to stay here so they leave and go away to settle in city. but this cultural village is so pretty that even I would love to stay in one of the homes.there are many places where you can click pictures.
