Contrary to the Famen Temple in Baoji, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built by the Famen Temple. When Emperor Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty built Jingjue Temple, Emperor Wendi of the Sui Dynasty built Wujue Temple at the site of Jingjue Temple, which was later abandoned. In the 22nd year of Tang Zhenguan (648), Prince Li Zhi prayed for the blessings of the goddess in memory of his mother, Queen Wende (i.e. the Changsun family). In return for his kindness to his mother, he invited Taizong to build a Buddhist temple and give it the name "Cien Temple". At the beginning of the temple, Xuanzang, a senior monk, was invited to serve as the Supreme mage. Xuanzang founded the Mahayana Buddhist Buddhism Xiangzong, which gained me by analyzing the relative truth (phase) and absolute truth (sex) of all things (law), and by emphasizing the prohibition of independence outside the mind, also known as the Consciousness Sect. As the founder Xuanzang and his disciple Peeki often lived in Cien Temple, which is also called Cien Zong, the temple became a holy place of Mahayana Buddhism in China. In the first year of Tang Xianqing (656), Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty wrote a monument to Dacien Temple, which was named Dacien Temple. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Cien Temple, so it is also called "Cien Temple Pagoda". Dacien Temple, where Dayan Pagoda is located, is Xuanzang's specialty in translating and Tibetan scriptures. Master Xuanzang presided over the temple affairs in Cien Temple. He hoped to properly place the Buddhist scriptures like Sari. He planned to build a stone pagoda outside the main entrance of Cien Temple. It was played on a chart in March of the third year of Yonghui Tang Dynasty (652). Because Xuanzang planned a total height of 30 Zhang for the Putu (Buddha Pagoda), Tang Gaozong, on the grounds of the huge project and the unwillingness of the mage to work hard, supported the Emperor to build five-storey brick Pagoda in the western monastery. As a result of the construction of a smaller Yan Pagoda in the Jianfu Temple in Chang'an, the Cien Pagoda is also called the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Jianfu Pagoda is called the Little Yan Pagoda, which has been circulating ever since. The original Big Wild Goose Pagoda imitated the Western Regions steamed slope shape, brick surface and soil core, can not be climbed, each layer has Sari. Master Xuanzang personally built the tower, which took two years to complete. In addition to preserving the Sanskrit scriptures of Bedoro leaves retrieved from the Geese Pagoda, there are more than 10,000 Saris in the Great Goose Pagoda.
