Yangling was built in the fourth year (153 BC) of Emperor Jingdi of Han Dynasty, and completed in the third year (126 BC) of Emperor Yuanshuo of Han Dynasty. It lasted for 28 years and covers an area of 20 square kilometers. Yangling, also known as Hanyang Mausoleum, is the joint burial cemetery of Emperor Liu Qi of the Han Dynasty and his Queen Wang's Tongmian cave. It is located on the Xianyang plain of Zhengyang Town, Zhangjiawan, north of Hougou Village, Weicheng District, Xianyang City and Gaoling District, Xianyang City.
