Hokkaidō Museum of Literature Review

The quiet libraryThis library is in the Nakajimakoen park. It is very quiet. I wanted to read some books here, but it's not free. So I take a few photos and say goodbye to the library.

It displays the biographical profiles and works of writers, poets and scholars of Hokkaido origin, as well as some manuscripts, which are placed in one-compartment drawers and pressed flat with glass plates. The most famous is Watanabe Chunyi, who specially read his manuscript, which is a passage of Paradise Lost. He can't understand a word or take pictures, but it's really a classic work to pay tribute to him (don't misunderstand, he's still alive).

It's just a library! Hokkaido is not only beautiful in scenery, but also has a strong cultural atmosphere. It can be seen from this library that so many excellent writers are from Hokkaido.
