It rained on our first day in Hong Kong, and we lost the pleasure of visiting Victoria Harbour and Starlight Avenue. On Wednesday, the Hong Kong Space Museum became a good place for us to take shelter from the rain and pass the time. The Pavilion is divided into East and West wings. The egg-shaped east wing is the core of the pavilion. There are Ho Hongxuan's Hall of Heaven, Space Science Exhibition Hall, All-Sky Film Studio, and many production workshops. There are many interactive projects, such as experiencing centrifugal force, experiencing space walk, operating spacecraft, etc. My father has a lot of fun inside. On the West wing, there are astronomical exhibition halls, lecture halls, astronomical bookstores and resource centers of the Hong Kong Space Museum, which are basically for students or activities. The Hall is equipped with a hemispheric screen with a diameter of 23 meters. In addition to the first all-sky movie projection equipment in the Eastern Hemisphere, it is also the first astronomical museum in the world with an automatic celestial program control system. Every year, the Hong Kong Space Museum uses the digital celestial projection system to produce celestial phenomena programs, and selects excellent all-sky movies and three-dimensional spherical curtain movies from abroad to broadcast in the celestial hall. The Hong Kong Space Museum organizes many promotional activities every year, including astronomical carnival, astronomical happy hours, interesting experimental classes, astronomical competitions, astronomical lectures, astronomical film appreciation, etc.
