Baoqing Temple was built in Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty. The pagoda was built in the temple with five-color bricks. It is called the Huata of Baoqing Temple ("Hua" and "Hua") because of its flowery color. In the Ming Dynasty, Feng Congwu, a scholar, returned home to give lectures at Baoqing Temple. He opened up a new site and built the Guanzhong Academy at No. 63 (200 meters away) of the Academy Gate. Feng Congwu's statue is at the gate of Guanzhong Academy. Today, the temple of Baoqing has been destroyed, while the Huata of Baoqing temple still exists.
