Hukou Waterfall is a natural waterfall formed when the middle reaches of the Yellow River flows through the Shanxi-Shaanxi Grand Canyon. It is bordered by Yichuan County in Shaanxi Province in the West and Jixian County in Shanxi Province in the east, about 25 kilometers southwest of Jixian City in Shanxi Province. The waterfall is 30 meters wide and 50 meters deep, with a maximum waterfall surface of 30,000 square meters. The Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province is the same as the Detian Waterfall in the border between China and Vietnam. When the torrential water of the Yellow River flowed through the vicinity of Longwangshan Mountain in Jixian County, it shrank from 300 meters to 50 meters. The torrential water flowed straight down and plunged into deep troughs, such as pots filled with water, so it was called "pot mouth". The stormy waves roll, the stormy waves beat the shore, the clouds empty, its magnificent momentum, unparalleled. Landscapes related to waterfalls include "kilometer dragon trough", "smoking in the water", "Changhong horizontal wave", "boating in dry land" and so on. The scenery of Hukou varies from season to season, and the river is frozen in the severe winter. In spring, the ice storm roars like thunder piercing the ears. In midsummer, the floods fill the banks, making them spectacular. In autumn, the rainbow spreads all over the sky.
