Japanese Tea Garden Review

Beautiful garden, it is a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of hot tea. Although it is in the city. Be sure to wear your walking shoes and be patient. Sometimes depending on the time of year, you have to queue long to reach several stations. But definitely a place worth seeing.

We strolled into this beautiful garden and stopped at the teahouse in front of the gift shop. There is a small outdoor seating area with narrower seats so not very comfortable. But I love this intimate feeling as it encourages you to talk to others. We tried almost all the options on the menu and it was great. Service was fast and efficient. Be sure to stand in the right position when ordering at the cashier or you will be scolded or knocked down.

Japanese Tea Garden, this is in San Francisco, not in Japan. There are many Japanese tea gardens in downtown, San Francisco Bay Area. This tea garden is estimated to be the smallest, but it has all kinds of flowers, birds, fish and insects in the pavilion.
