Karl-Marx-Allee Review

Marx & Engels Square is a park in the centre of Berlin, Germany. It is located on the west side of Alexander Square on the East Bank of the Spray River in Berlin. The outside of the square is lawn and woodland. In the middle is a bronze statue of Marx and Engels, the founders of modern socialism. The Park was built by the government of the former German Democratic Republic in 1986.

At the corner of the street, a sculpture of Marx and Engels in the garden in the middle of the street. There are some old black and white photographs left on some stone tablets, and some decayed scenes. It feels forgotten by most local people.

Karl Marx Street is the longest and widest street in Berlin. It was the main street in the former East Germany, similar to Chang'an Street in Beijing. Now the streets are lined with office buildings of important state-owned enterprises in Germany. They are very busy.

I don't know if this street is named for the promotion of Marxism, but this street is still very characteristic and it feels very simple. Personally, I suggest that you come to this street at night. Many cars can't feel its atmosphere during the day. Only when you walk around at night can you find how beautiful it is.

When a Berlin Wall divided Germany, the two countries took a very different road. Walking on the famous Karl Marx Street, we can clearly feel the difference between East Germany and West Germany. This should be the only road in Berlin that can rival the broad streets of China's big cities. It's very socialist.
