Dumu Temple is located in the middle of the road west of Basentepur in downtown Nepal. It used to be a public house where pilgrims and passers-by rested, and then it was built into a temple. It is a pagoda-temple building with double eaves and a height of about 20 meters. The Dumu Temple was built in the 12th century from the wood of a tree. The Sanskrit name is Kastha Mandap, meaning a beautiful city. The Nepalese name is Kathmandu, meaning Dumu Temple. Later, building houses and cities around this center, that is, the name of the city, which is also the origin of the name of Nepal's capital.
