The Museum of the Seventh King was very beautiful in the late 19th century architecture. The key figure was King Lama VII, who was deposed as monarch in 1932. In the mid-19th century, colonial powers like France and Britain basically bullied Siam and invaded parts of the country, imposing difficult commercial conditions on Thailand (Siam at that time).
