The original name of Jinge Temple is Luyuan Temple, which is called "Jinge Temple" because the outer walls of the core building of the Temple are all decorated with gold foil. The ticket is very unique. It's a note with good wishes. Founded in 1397, the monastery was originally the villa of General Fuli Yiman (i.e., the prototype of General Zhongli in animation "a clever rest" and later changed to Zen Monastery "Bodhisattva", which was destroyed by fire and restored in 1955. The three-storey pavilion has different architectural styles on each floor, but it can only be seen from afar if it can't enter the interior. Although the day we visited was cloudy, we also enjoyed the magnificent Golden Pavilion and the picturesque sky reflected in the Jinghu Lake Pool. It has become a symbol of Kyoto, designated by the Japanese government as a national treasure, and designated by UNESCO as an important historical building of world cultural heritage in 1994. Therefore, there are many Chinese and foreign tourists here, and they are also one of the tourist attractions that must be visited by tour groups.
