Kuranda Scenic Railway Review

Breathtakingly views! The railway trip was reallynice. Be careful of the weather because it was hot for us so when you aren’t moving just be careful. There are shops before you get on the train so if you don’t have drinks be sure to grab them. There is so much history given and it’s a wonderful experience! You will really enjoy it !

The Kulanda small train is a sightseeing train from the town of Kulanda to Cairns. The whole journey is 37 kilometers and it takes about two hours to arrive. The scenery on the road is good, and there will be a few minutes to stop at the Great Falls for everyone to take pictures. It is worth sitting.

The way to visit the Kulanda Tropical Rainforest is to take the small train that is scheduled here. The small train can generally take about 200 people. You can enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery along the way. The air is very fresh and really fun.

The whole train journey takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. There are only two trains (2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) from Kuranda. The train will pass through the Valley of Baron, winding 37 kilometers. There are 16 stations along the way. Along the way, the train broadcasts the background information of each station for you. At Baron Falls Station, the train will stay for 10 minutes. You can get off and enjoy the Baron Falls landscape with an elevation of 329 meters and a drop of 265 meters. On the way back, there is a stop called Freshwater Station. There are a lot of tourists getting off. If you live in downtown Keynes, don't follow it. It's far from downtown. You have to go under Cairns Station at the terminal Keynes Station.
