Lake Geneva Review

A great place to swim and have a drink with local restaurants. The lake is very pretty and the locals are friendly ! If you walk around a bit or get a bicycle there are some quaint little houses and farm shops.

Lake Geneva, also known as Lake Le Mans, spans Switzerland and France, is an important lake in Western Europe and is also a famous scenic spot and sanatorium. During the day you can cruise around Lake Geneva, at night you can revel in the twinkling neon on the shore, and there are often luxury cruise ships holding concerts or dances on the lake.

Lake Geneva (French: Lake Le Mans) is the largest of the Alpine lakes. The lake covers about 224 square miles, 140 square miles in Switzerland and 84 square miles in France. Lake Geneva is formed by the Rona glacier. The lake is a bow shape and the lake's recess faces south. After the dissipation of the Rona glacier, the Rhone River is the main river of Lake Geneva. Lake Geneva is 1,230 feet above sea level and 46 miles long. The widest part of the lake is 8.5 miles. The deepest part of the lake is 1017 feet. The lakeside and adjacent areas, the climate is mild, the temperature difference is very small, and there are many tourist attractions built.
