Located in central Switzerland, Lake Ryusen is the fourth largest lake in Switzerland and the birthplace of the Swiss Confederation. The lake covers an area of 114 square kilometres, with a maximum length of 38 kilometres and a maximum depth of 214 metres. Clear meltwater from snow mountains can be directly drinkable. The lake is beautiful, and its water is clear (it is said that the lake water can basically be drunk directly). The mountains, snow peaks, swans, churches, buildings and bridges on the lake are all part of the beautiful lake. Because of this beautiful lake, the ancient lakeside city of Ryusen has the nickname "Lakeside Paris" and has become the most famous resort in Switzerland and the most popular lakeside resort in Europe. The last two pictures are the lake view outside our hotel in the suburb of Ryusen. There is a Ryusen resort camp beside the lake. The lake scenery here is more quiet.
