Lake Tekapo (Lake Tekapo) : It is the second largest lake in the north of the Mackenzie Basin from north to south. It is recharged by the Drai River (Godley River), 700 meters above sea level, and the basin area can reach 83 square kilometers. Located between Christchurch and Queenstown, New Zealand's famous tourist city on the South Island, in the heart of the Cook Basin and MacKenzie. The beautiful and charming Lake Tekapo is surrounded by trees and snowy snow covered by golden sunshine, and the endless snowy mountains. During the season, Lake Tkapo and the smaller nearby Alexandrina, McGregor and Conway are great places to fish for palm and rainbow trout. In winter, the town of Tkapo welcomes a large number of ski guests.

The lake even has water every day, and the autumn is very clear. The lake and the snow-capped mountains are matched. All New Zealand scenic spots have no charges, and there is no charge on the highway. It is really good for welfare and pleasant scenery.

Queenstown is already beautiful along the way, and Lake Tekapo is even more shocking! The calm lake is surrounded by the Southern Alps, and the beauty is so beautiful that the restless heart is healed! Lake Tekapo is indeed beautiful at any moment of the day, great lake!

Stargazing here from the carpark was absolutely stunning. We stopped by for lunch before heading to Mount Cook for a day hike. On the way back, when the sun had gone down, we stopped here for gas and stargazing and it was unexpectedly one of the most memorable stops I’ve experienced in my life.
