Tokawada Lake is the third-largest in Japan in depth, across Aomori and Akita counties. The young girl near the hut is a poet and sculptor Komura Kwangtaro modeled by his wife, Chikiko. The two girls with the lake as the background, the gesture of standing together is the representative symbol of Shiwada Lake.
