The Lion Gate Bridge is a landmark attraction in Vancouver. It is designed by the same design master as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It is very spectacular and has a particularly good view. If you drive on the bridge, you must not miss the beautiful scenery on both sides of the bridge.

The Stanley Lion Gate Bridge was opened to traffic in 1938, 85 years ago, which shows what a great project it was at that time!

Lion Gate Bridge is a landmark in Vancouver and one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. It is a sister bridge with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It came from the same designer. Apart from the differences in length, size and color, the overall architectural style of the two bridges is quite similar. The Golden Gate Bridge is orange in general, while the Shimen Bridge is green in general. If you have time, you can drive to the bridge or walk to the bridge. The scenery is very good. In addition, the opening scene of the 2011 movie Death Comes 5 is the Lion Gate Bridge.

The Lion Gate Bridge in Vancouver is a suspension bridge that opened in 1938, connecting the city of Vancouver and the North Vancouver District. The term “Lion Gate” refers to Lion Rock, a pair of peaks in northern Vancouver. In January 1939, a pair of cast-concrete lions designed by sculptor Maréga (Charles Marega) were placed on both sides of the south entrance to the bridge.
