Ma Wangdui Han Tomb, located in Mawangdui Street next to Liuyang River, four kilometers from the eastern suburbs of Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is the family cemetery of Changsha State Leadership and Minhou Licang in the early days of the West Han Dynasty. Ma Wangdui Han Tomb in 1972 ~ in 1974, three archaeological excavations, the structure of the tomb is magnificent and complicated, three are the north side of the tomb with a tomb road rectangular vertical tomb, the chamber is built in the bottom of the tomb pit, the tomb bottom and the chamber around, are full of charcoal and white paste mud, then layer by layer fill, solid sealing. The tomb No. 2 is the Changsha-Xiang-Hou Licang in early Han Dynasty, the tomb No. 1 is Licang's wife, and the tomb No. 3 is Licang's son. The tomb has unearthed a total of more than 3,000 relics such as a well-preserved female body, coffin, silk fabric, book, painting, lacquerware, Chinese herbal medicine and other relics. The discovery of Ma Wangdui Han Tomb provides important information for studying the burial system, the development of crafts and science and technology in the early Han Dynasty, and the history, culture and social life of Changsha.
