The tomb has unearthed a total of more than 3,000 relics such as a well-preserved female body, coffin, silk fabric, book, painting, lacquerware, Chinese herbal medicine and other relics. The discovery of Ma Wangdui Han Tomb provides important information for studying the burial system, the development of crafts and science and technology in the early Han Dynasty, and the history, culture and social life of Changsha.
