The Metropolitan Museum of New York [1], located near New York City Central Park, is one of the largest art museums in the world. Covering an area of 130,000 square meters, the main building area is about 8 hectares, and the exhibition area is more than 20 hectares. The Museum has over 2 million works of art, and the whole museum is divided into 19 departments. The main building is usually referred to as the Met. In addition to the main pavilion, there is the second branch of Bonnefort Cloister in Upper Manhattan. There are mainly medieval works of art on display. On January 5, 2018, the Metropolitan Museum of New York announced a new ticket requirement. Starting from March 1, 2018, most visitors outside New York State must buy tickets to enter.
