Red Leaf Valley Park is located in the Miyama native forest valley of the holy place of Hiroshima Prefecture. The red leaves of Red Leaf Valley Park have been planted since the Edo era and are elegant gardens with many ancient red leaf maples. The park, as its name suggests, has about 700 red leaves and is full of lush forests. In mid-November, the whole park is dyed red, magnificent, and sometimes you can see the deer walking under the red leaves! At the end of November, the red leaves sacrifice is held at the Grand Holy House of Miyajima, which is definitely a great event for local maple viewing!
