Mongkok is located in Yau Tsim Mong District, central Kowloon. Old and new buildings stand in the forest; old residential buildings are mostly shops or restaurants. Bordered by Nathan Road, shopping malls are concentrated in the East and residential areas in the west. Traffic is very fast, there are buses and MTR, and there are special minibuses running all night. Nathan Road is often blocked during holidays. Mongkok has a very high population density, with an average density of 130,000 people per square kilometer. Mongkok, as you know from the Hong Kong movies, seems to always be associated with violence and fighting, where the underworld likes. In fact, the real Mongkok, there is no such feeling. We live in Mongkok. As soon as the subway comes out, a house next to it is a private hotel. The price is like 380 one night. It's pitiful that the room's width is only 1.2 meters, which can fit a bed into it. Then the bathroom is super small, but it's in a good location. It's easier to find it when we get out of the subway. There are many restaurants nearby, some local shops, as well as Cuihua Restaurant, all kinds of electronic equipment stores, coin exchange stores and so on. Mongkok has convenient transportation. Subway and bus ticking cars have stations. You can walk to Yau Ma Tei, Temple Street, Boshoe Street and so on. So you can choose to live here.
