Lake Moran, surrounded by ten peaks, contrasts with the blue sky and the beautiful scenery of snow. It is even used as a pattern of $20 banknotes. Here you can take a boat tour of the lake. Rock deposits at the end of the lake form the natural Bank of the lake, which is the origin of the name of Lake Moran. (Moraine means "ice slug"). But in fact, the rocks were just landslides on the south bank that were transported by glaciers, not real ice slumps. Standing on these rocks, the view is spectacular.
