In 1997, the National Library decided to fully repair and renovate the original building of the branch after nearly seven decades of storms and rains. On July 1, the branch was fully closed. Looking at the appearance, it is a typical large roof structure in China, which is the same as some buildings in the Forbidden City, and Tai Temple, Confucius Temple and other buildings are all such forms of architecture.
