Belonging to Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Zhuoni County, Niba Township. "Niba" is a Tibetan translation, meaning "Yangpo". Niba Village sits north to south, built on the mountain, the clear Cheba River passes through the village, and the front rows of the village show a flag shaking in the Shuofeng. Looking at Niba Village from afar, the houses in the village are similar in style, scattered, scaled and antique. From low to high, layers are superimposed, and the households are connected, and they are combined into a tight and spectacular defense. At a glance at the strong structure and proud position, it is understood that it is the need to prevent theft and resist the invasion in the war years. Especially under the blue sky and white clouds, the roof of every household is covered with barren poles as dense as a spider web, crisscrossing, and adding a sacred and mysterious color to the cottage. [2] The village can be seen everywhere, with twists and turns, layer by layer, these plank roads fixed on one side of the mountain, and relying on countless logs on the other side, not only solve the traffic problem of people and animals on the hillside, but also expand the effective living area of the Tibetan village. People are used to drying grain on these wooden frames. The small villages are densely populated with walls connected by houses. These Tibetan houses are made of thick soil, with only two to three-eyed skylights in the middle, and they look khaki yellow from the outside and monotonous. In fact, the earth wall is only an outer wall, which plays a role of insulating and strong. The inside of the house is tall and spacious, all wood, warehouses, toilets, pigstys are also all made of large pieces of wood, and the room decoration shows Tibetan style. This kind of house without wood and soil inside is both warm and breathable, and is not common in other Tibetan areas.
