The Orang Asli Museum near the National Museum showcases the preservation of traditional culture, customs and history of specific tribes. The tribe that lived in Malaysia in ancient times has ceased to exist, but many things have been restored later, and there is not much real history.

The exhibition hall is located on the side of the parking lot of the National Museum in Jalan Damansara, a small building dedicated to tradition, faith and Aboriginal crafts. The tribal spears, welding guns and statues of ancestors can be seen here. Admission is free, but I think the knowledge and legends about early rise Aboriginals are priceless intangible cultural heritage, highly recommended!

The museum is kinda small but I found it quite informative on the native people in Malaysia. Their wood carvings are interesting. Highly recommend this place

This worthwhile museum is dedicated to the traditional arts of Peninsular malaysia's indigenous people, the Orang Asli, whose ancestors first arrived tens thousands of years ago.Of particular interest are the wood carvings, which relate to the Orang Asli's ancient belief systems. It can easily be combined with a visit to the National Museum next door.Admission : FreeOpen daily : 9am -5pm
