Penang Botanic Gardens Review

Penang Botanic Gardens is a beautiful garden situated at Jalan Air Terjun, George Town, Penang. This botanic gardens is part of Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO as the third Biosphere Reservere in Malaysia.

PENANG BOTANICAL GARDENOne of the places worth mentioning in Penang is the Botanic Gardens. Located at Jalan Kebun Bunga (literally translated to Flower Garden Road, how apt a name!), it is Malaysia’s only botanic garden, boasting a great and artistic landscape. As such, Penang is proud for being home to this green piece of land that makes a great spot for a jog or stroll with friends and family.

Charles Curtis is the man behind this garden in 1884. In fact, the easily recognizable Curtis Crest of The Habitat is named after him.

Wide choices of potted plants are available for rental to the organizations, government agencies, public and also the private sector.
