If ever visiting Penang island, you should definitely visit Penang hill you can take a bus there as it is much cheaper, than the taxis, but remember to have the right amount for the bus as they do not give change. The fare i can range from 1 - 5 Ringgit to find out which bus goes there go to any backpackers and ask for the bus schedule, each bus is numbered, just look on the schedule which number goes to the hill and wait at any bu stop for the number bus.

Ctrip's ticket is not a train ticket to go up the mountain, you need to buy another one! Then I went to the top of the mountain and didn't find where to use this ticket, and I couldn't refund it. I wasted money! The view on the top of the mountain is not bad, overlooking the entire Penang

Penang Hill, a picturesque retreat located just outside George Town, offers a breathtaking escape from the bustling city life. The journey to Penang Hill begins with a delightful funicular train ride, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. The steep ascent offers a gradual introduction to the lush greenery and natural beauty that awaits at the summit.
