We were very lucky - there was no charge for tickets the day we came here (New Year's Eve). The Norman Lewis exhibition was fantastic, especially when it was on display with his usual work (a letter to Eleanor Roosevelt and a gallery owner was the highlight). We love the printmaking area in the basement, where the authors are former students of Pennsylvania College of Art.

The Pennsylvania Academy of Art is the first art gallery and American art school. It was founded in 1805 and produced a group of talented artists and sculptors. The Museum in the main building has many works of art, including George & 183 of Gilbert Stuart, Washington.

Inside the institute, it is antique and full of artistic flavor. It is worth for young artists to study abroad.
