One of Venice's two most famous bridges is an ancient stone bridge built in the middle of the Grand Canal at the end of the 16th century. In fact, the bridge was originally a wooden bridge. Unfortunately, when a duke was married, crowds of people crowded on the bridge crushed the bridge. Later, when the new Stone Bridge was built, a design competition was held. Many big players, including Michelangelo, came to participate in the competition. As a result, the unknown Anthony Daponte won the bid. This is Venice's shopping mall. There are many shops on and under the bridge. There are a lot of people. Standing on the bridge, overlooking the prosperity of the Grand Canal is one of the greatest enjoyments.
