In Xinghua City, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, there is a kind of planting method called stacking field. Eight hundred years ago, there were more water and fewer fields in Xinghua City. The local people dredged mud from the water and piled it up. Then they planted grain on the piles, which formed a unique piled field. This is the unique cultivation mode in China. It is the special cultivation mode heritage of the Ministry of Agriculture and also the world heritage.
