Qianlong Palace is also called the Dragon King Temple Palace. It is located in the ancient town of Zaohe outside Suqian City. It is a key cultural heritage protection unit and a world cultural heritage. It is close to Luoma Lake and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which is an important cultural site along the canal. It used to be a flooded area of the Yellow River and Huai River. In order to govern Huanghuai, locals believed in the blessing of the Dragon King. When Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he lived here four times, which is also one of the best preserved Qing Dynasty palaces in the country. The small building where Qianlong lives is located in the deepest part. The first floor is the office area, mainly the scene of Qianlong's water disaster management. The second floor is where Qianlong sleeps. The whole palace is not big, and it can be transferred in 1 hour. The musty smell inside is very heavy, there are not many places to introduce, the waxwork is very rough, and the lighting effect is relatively dim. Tickets are 60 yuan, still a bit expensive, there are really few people. The traffic is quite convenient. From Suqian Bus Station, take the No. 92 bus directly to the entrance of Qianlong Palace. It takes about 20 minutes to get there. It lasts 40 minutes and the fare is 4 yuan.
