Foshan is the only prefecture-level city named after Buddha in China, and Renshou Temple, with a history of more than 300 years, was built in Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a famous monastery with many eminent monks in history. It is also called the Four Jungles of Foshan together with Tapo Temple, Deshou Temple and Sanyuan Temple in Foshan. Renshou Temple is located at No. 5 Zumiao Road, Chancheng District, Foshan City. It is only hundreds of meters away from Foshan Zumiao Temple. It is the seat of Foshan Buddhist Association. From the Zumiao metro, we can walk along. From a distance, we can see the Ruyi Pagoda. It is a fake attic building and a landmark building in Foshan. There are more than ten porcelain Buddhas in the pagoda. The pagoda is a seven-story octagonal Han-style Pagoda with Tibetan tablets. There are more than ten ceramic Buddha statues in the pagoda. Among them, the pottery red and green Buddha statue is the work of Shiwan Guanhua pottery kiln, named by Shiwan pottery art. Jiapanyu handmade calligraphy sculpture. Approaching the temple gate, you can see the main stone plaque Renshou Temple three characters are handwritten by celebrities, the font is slender and beautiful, known as crane-shaped calligraphy. Entering the temple, you can see the pagoda and the ancient hall on the east side of the pagoda. According to the characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism, you can see a hundred-year-old longan tree on the left side of the Daxiong Hall, which worships the golden "Wufang Buddha". It is said that in the 1990s, the longan tree grew out of several Ganoderma lucidum, so it is honorably called "Renshou Lingzhi".
