This is the beach park near Koko Head Regional Park, which is a popular destination for many tourists. There's a big open beach, no rocks. This is a perfect place for boarding and body surfing (boarding is not needed but chest-belly surfing). Because of the natural coastal breaks on the shore, the waves here are especially strong and turbulent. Every year there are more injuries than any other Hawaiian beach, so it's called "Broken Neck" beach.
