It is one of the most important archaeological sites in Japan as a Jomon ruins. I'm surprised that there were 800 houses. From the excavated ones, you can see that the unit of 35 cm was used for measurement, and that it was distributed in Niigata and Hokkaido. Lacquer-painted vessels and baskets are exhibited in the museum and must-see. There is a free guided tour of the museum. The time required is 50 minutes. It is recommended because it is easy to understand.
