Santa Justa Lift Review

Lisbon's San Husta lift is vertically lifted, 45 meters high, neo-Gothic decoration. Visitors can overlook the city street view and become a tourist landscape. San Justa Lift (Portuguese: Elevador de Santa Justa), also known as the Calmu Lift (Elevador do Carmo), located at the end of San Justa Street (Rua de Santa Justa), connecting the lower streets of Bombal's lower city with the higher Calmu Square (Largo do Carmo), opened to the public on July 10, 1902, is the only straight up and down Lisbon open to the public Elevator.

It is the best choice to climb up to enjoy Lisbon. You can see the scenery of San Jose Castle, Rosio Square and Bombardier. The interior of the elevator is very beautiful and antique. You have to queue up to enter the elevator, 5 euros/person. If you buy a day ticket or sightseeing bus, you can get free tickets, but you have to make up an extra 1.5 euros when you climb to the top.
