Fushimi Inari Taisha Senbon Torii (Thousands Torii Gate) Review

Remember 2019.11 Kansai Late Autumn Festival~ Before coming to Kyoto, I was shocked by the beauty of various thousands of birds on the Internet, so once I came to Kyoto, thousands of birds are the first place to punch in. Although there are also bird houses in other shrines before, it is still amazing to see the thousand birds houses of Fushimi Inari so large. It's just that the thousand birds houses are so famous, and there are endless tourists coming to check in. It is really difficult to take beautiful photos without crowds. Although tourists are already very orderly, waiting in line to take pictures one by one, there are inevitably sporadic tourists who do not take pictures, and there are people coming over opposite, so it is impossible to realize those beautiful photos alone on the Internet. Or use the eyes and the heart to record, the beauty will live in the heart, will not fade. Fushimi Inari is very big, can not stay in one place for too much time.

A very pleasant visit with my Japanese friends. Not too many tourists in winter. The path with thousands torii gates is very unique, beautiful, kind of spiritual and very photogenic. The Fushimi Inari Trisha is close by the JR station of the same name as well as another train station of the Kintetsu line.

An iconic shrine in Kyoto that you have to go. entrance is wide and has many steps to go up to the end section. did not go that far in, instead we went to surrounding area to walk around and ate a tasty matcha ice cream. very lovely experience.

The first time I saw the photos of the thousand birds, I was deeply attracted, so I listed Fushimi Inari as a must-see place to go to Kyoto. It proved that this place is as exciting as expected. Bird residence is a archway-style building, mostly scarlet, and has seen pure stone simple bird residence. In Japan's god religion, the meaning of bird residence is like a boundary, which is a door separating the world and the god world. After this door, you enter the field of God. So there is a bird house at the entrance of the shrine in Japan. This word is a quantifier in Japanese, so a thousand bird house means a thousand bird house. These thousands of bird houses are arranged on the road to Inari Mountain to visit, each one is donated by a good man or a consortium, engraved with names and dates, which shows the incense of the Inari Dashe. This scarlet archway that can't see the end is connected to the tunnel of faith, shuttled among them, as if they were walking on the road to the fairy world, behind them are earthly troubles, very subtle feelings. It is really beautiful when the sun shines through the gap between the trees and the pillars of the bird house. I think this place should undoubtedly be the most famous bird house in Japan, it is recommended and worth visiting.
