Located at No. 5, Zhongshan East Road, the Shipping Building was originally called Riqing Building. Japan's famous company Riqing was founded here. The main entrance is in the center of the West elevation. The Japanese built the lower three floors and semi-basement with a concise architectural style, which belongs to "modern Japanese Westernization". The Jewish upper three decorations are more exquisite. There are eaves between the layers and reliefs on the window frames under the eaves. On the roof of the Maritime Building was a rare roof garden at that time.
