Shaoguan Museum is located at No. 90 Industrial West Road, Wujiang District, Shaoguan City, established in 1960. It is a national second-level museum. The current museum covers an area of 10,300 square meters, the construction area of 7,500 square meters, and the exhibition hall area of 3334 square meters. It was opened to the public in March 2002. Shaoguan Museum has a display department, cultural management department, mission department, defense department, office a total of 5 departments, carry out daily work. Shaoguan Museum is a comprehensive museum with local history. There are more than 10,000 pieces of various collections. It is open to the public all year round. The ancient history and culture exhibition of Shaoguan in Shaozhou, Shaozhou, is a collection of ceramics. The "Shaoguan Industrial and Mining Culture Exhibition of the Republic" is displayed in four basic exhibitions. As a fully functional state-owned museum and the patriotic education base of Guangdong Province, the Shaoguan Museum also holds temporary exhibitions and carry out various social education activities from time to time every year. It plays an important role in inheriting and protecting local history and culture, promoting the protection of Shaoguan cultural heritage, improving the public cultural service system and prosperity of Shaoguan cultural undertakings. The venues of the Shaoguan Museum include the Historical Exhibition Hall of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee (including the former site of Wuli Pavilion of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee), and the Northern Expedition War Memorial Hall.
