Sharp Island Review

The seabed and land of Qiaozui Island is beautiful. The western waters of Qiaozui Island are rich and extensive coral cover, and the marine ecology is very diverse and worthy of our appreciation and protection.

Sharp Island is part of Saikung region, Hong Kong. It is inhabitant island with clear water, you should go if you wanted to soak into the water. The island can be reached by boat at around 15 minutes from Saikung Pier.

Because of a day's holiday, I went to Sai Kung Qiao Tsui Island to travel. Take a 35 boat to the island at Sai Kung Pier. The island is not big, but the scenery is beautiful and the sea is very clear. You can see the small fish swimming. Then you go to the other side of the beach to see the weathered pineapple stone. It has been another day of leisure.

Qiaozuizhou was hit by mistake. In other words, there are many transit ship ports in Saigon Wharf, each of which has different route charges. We didn't plan where to go. An aunt greeted us to go to Qiaozuizhou, saying that the ship was going to leave soon. So we got on board, 20 yuan each. Qiao Tsui Chau is one of the geological parks in Hong Kong. Its name is unfamiliar and hard to remember. It has been said many times before its name is remembered. Today we are on a slow boat, not as badly as yesterday's fast boat. The boat has a window, so we can enjoy the sea breeze and enjoy it. It's about 10 minutes'ride. It's here, Qiaozuizhou. Looking at the past, there was a path connecting the two islands. This landform is called Liandao Sandbar. It is said that at high tide, the middle path will be covered by water, and people walking on it, from a distance, like flying on the water. The water here is clear, much clearer than Lamma Island. The water depth is blue-green. But the sand is bigger and there are many shells. The paths connecting the two islands are covered with big stones. It's not easy to walk through them. There is a kind of stone like pineapple bags everywhere in Qiaozuizhou. The correct name is quartz monzonite. The area of Qiaozuizhou used to be a volcanic crater. It was formed by debris from volcanic eruption hundreds of millions of years ago. The rock was eroded by wind and rain, and the minerals in it dissolved, thus forming a pattern of cracks, just like the brittle skin on the pineapple bags. In addition, there are several forms of stone, along the way there are signs, if you look carefully while walking, you can learn a lot of geological knowledge.
