The name of the park comes from "getting the pleasure of natural freshness, getting physical and mental exercise, getting certain plant knowledge, getting health and longevity". In July 2003, the public welfare free park opened to the outside world after transformation. Side Park covers an area of 16.7 hectares, with a water surface of more than 7000 square meters.
