In the first year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, Jingtu Temple was built in Songpu Town, Jiangbei. In the twenty-seventh year of the Republic of China, the old monk Nengxi received the Pure Land Temple and expanded the temple, renamed Guanyin Temple. Guanyin Temple is a branch of Tiantai Zonghong Fa, covering more than 50 mu. The main hall has two floors, more than 30 houses and more than 50 monks. Because of its prosperous incense and prominent reputation, it was known as "North Putuo Mountain".
