The church is not very big, but it is quite beautiful, it should have been left over from the colonial period, there are many believers here, we saw many people did not go in to visit the church.

St. Paul's Church is located in the flag-raising mountain at the mouth of the Malacca River (also known as the West Mountain, where King Bailimi Sura once gave the Golden Dragon Wenxuan gift of Ming Chengzu on the mountain, later renamed the St. Paul Mountain), built in 1521 for the Portuguese. The famous missionary St. Francis was buried here, and there is a statue of Father St. Francis in front of the church. After the Dutch occupied Malacca in 1670, the church was used as a castle, and many bullet holes can still be seen on the outer wall today. In 1753, the Dutch built a church, while St. Paul's Church was a burial ground for the Dutch nobles, and still retains some tombstones in Latin and Portuguese. There is a tomb inside the church, which was the temporary cemetery of Saint Francis in 1553.

It's a nice church to pray & holding religion events or weding. Classic architecture design combine with modern decoration. However, no parking is available
