The oldest church in Queenstown was built in 1861 by the first overseas immigrants in Queenstown. All the building stones of the church were moved from Queenstown Bay. The church has a beamless structure with an elaborate pipe organ and elaborately painted stained glass. Cedar's podium was carved by a Chinese named Ah Tong in the 1980s.
