Born in Austin, Denmark, in 1805, Andersen wrote 150 immortal fairy tales such as Mermaid, Match Girl and Ugly Duckling, weaving beautiful childhood for tens of millions of children in the world. The master, who presented fairy tales as the best gift for children all over the world, never had children himself. He was disappointed in love several times and even legendary homosexuality. When he was 15 years old, he came to Copenhagen. He lived in a small house near the canal because of his lovelorn. He was rather depressed in his old age. At 70, he died of liver cancer in his friend's country house. Now his statue, with crutches in his left hand and a book in his right hand, separated the pages with his index finger, raised his head slightly to the left and looked up at Tivoli Garden, the factory of dreams, with a look of dismay on his face.
