Tatjuya or Tatchupa Square is the old city center of Bhaktapur, Nepal's third largest city, and is also the birthplace of Bhaktapur, one of the four major squares of Bad Gangduba Square. The Temple of Datatlaya in the square (Dattatraya Temple) is the only temple in Nepal dedicated to the Trinity God Datatlaya, the three main Hindu gods who created the Great Brahma, protected the god Vishnu and destroyed the god Shiva. The temple has a long history, and it was built in 1427 by the then king Akhia Mara (King Yakshya Malla). It is said that the entire temple was built by a giant tree. The eagle at the top of the pillar in front of the temple is Galouro or Gruda (Garuda Statue) and the traditional law of Vishnu Fabei snails and discs. Behind it is a monastery, where the windows are beautifully carved, especially the famous peacock windows.
