Taipingqiao Park is located in the west of Ji'an Road, the east of Huangpi South Road, the south of Hubin Road and the north of Zizhong Road. It covers an area of 44,054 square meters. It is a large-scale open park in the central city of Shanghai. The landscape has artificial lake, green space, Shikumen Building, observation deck, Hubin Road and so on. Taipingqiao Park was originally a dense area of old-fashioned Lane residential areas. In order to create the ecological environment of Taipingqiao Commercial and Residential Park, in October 2000, the governments of Shanghai and Luwan District made the decision to build artificial lakes and green spaces in the region first, to drive the transformation of the old district with the environment, and jointly invested by the city and district governments and Hong Kong Ruian Group. Construction began on January 5, 2001, artificial lake water injection on May 20, completed on June 8, and officially opened on the 9th.
